Welcome to this month’s Igloo newsletter – a snapshot of where we've been, where we are, and where we're going. Here we give you an insight into a range of projects and information on our evolving projection technology and all-weather structures.
Sustainability Live – Our Friends Electric
In April, Igloo was present at Sustainability Live 2013 at the NEC Birmingham – the leading environmental exhibition in the UK and the ‘no1’ event for sustainable business management.
We were over the moon to be asked by Schneider Electric to screen their existing B2B presentation within our 6m Igloo, and for our in-house design and animation team to give it the 360º treatment.
Their branded cover, immaculate stand space and forward thinking approach to trade shows ensured that the exhibition stand stood out from the crowd. Here's what Schneider had to say

Igloo on tour – the road to Wembley!
We’ve been on the road with the UFEA Champions League Cup.
In association with Adidas & Savvy Sport we've taken an Igloo on the road to Wembley, giving sports fans the opportunity to hold aloft the prestigious Champions League trophy.
Our fully branded 6m Igloo has been the venue of choice to give young and old their own personal winning stadium experience, as we project 360º crowd scenes amongst inspirational footage of past team wins from every angle. Accompanied by surround sound, we truly engulfed visitors in the atmospheric spirit of a cup win. A great experience.
Outstanding in our field
Needless to say we're looking forward to this year's one day music festival Field Day at Victoria Park, London on the 25th May.
We'll be there with our 9m Igloo and physicist David Glowackis' audio visual sensation to entertain music lovers in between a plethora of standout DJs and music artists.
This installation has a specially constructed 360º camera rig that sits on the floor at the centre of the Igloo, capturing the surrounding crowd whilst simultaneously projecting a particle-base
real-time analysis of the their bodies and movement on our wraparound screens.The result? A psychedelic 360º landscape. Each show is unique as the visuals and accompanying soundscape is generated solely by the movement of the crowd.

Roof to floor solid projection screens
We are very proud to announce the development of our most immersive 9m igloo screens ever! Using a new manufacturing process we now have screens that are 3.75m high, 26m in circumference and come right down to the igloo floor. It's first outing will be at the Venice biennale 2013. Igloo is proud to announce its long awaited move into the education market. With our first semi-permanent domes about to be deployed in schools, Igloo in Education is geared towards delivering the immersive, interactive and engaging learning environment. The Igloo in Education domes are free from planning restrictions,
packed with technology and scarcely more expensive than a chipboard portacabin. Igloo in Education also provides consultancy into schools that supports the innovative use of technology.
