360º Simulations
igloo represents a new reality in simulation.
Because igloo 360º is a truly immersive environment, it’s capable of transporting people to the very heart of any conceivable situation. But it costs a fraction compared to traditional simulators, yet delivers HD quality 360º visuals and sound, which feel like life is all around you.
We’ve been attracting interest from across the range of the simulation industry.
Military - We’ve established partnerships with some key players, such as BISim, developers of VBS2 – the leading battlefield simulation system used by armed forces in countries such as Australia, the Netherlands and the USA as well as the UK.
Training - We’ve secured an initial order from QinetiQ – a leading provider of technical training and support to the Australian mining industry.
Gaming - We are constantly expanding the library of titles that effectively utilise the igloo 360º platform. Already we have enjoyed games such as Battlefield 3, Live for Speed driving simultor and the first 360º originated game from Mutant Labs. We also partnered with Bethesda at Gamescom, Cologne to provide the 'Wet Room'.
Because our platform is so flexible, any application, simulation or gaming system can be ported to the igloo.
Working with our partners, we have already accommodated a full range of hardware components – from laser tracked weapon system, binoculars and rifle sights, through to full simulators of complex vehicles.
This is just the start…
Our system can accommodate an unlimited number of video channels (so it’s endlessly scalable). It can combine, mix and blend multiple media formats (so it’s totally flexible). It’s also possible to network several igloos together, so that personnel in many remote environments can all participate in the same simulation. And our consultants are always available to help developers to get the very best from its capabilities.
