360º Media Creation
We generally play back our 360° media at a resolution of 9600 x 1080.5 x 1080p video. So, as you might imagine, the media files can take on truly gargantuan proportions.
Our media production processes enable us to crunch through these huge files, with designers and engineers working across multi-PC platforms.
For our work on the festival circuit, we create CGI content using our inhouse software plug-ins. This enables us to generate fully panoramic, CGI films from almost any 3D format. And our workflow and file handling processes enable us to work at a speed and a cost which, we believe, is unmatched anywhere in the industry.
We have also evolved our systems to deal with full HD-filmed panoramic content. For example, on one assignment we enabled Sky to create a 10-minute, fully panoramic film, using Sky HD content, and incorporating 360° panoramic video.
As a more recent innovation, we have developed a whole new library of real-time, generative content. This enables VJs to programme visuals that react in time to whatever music is being played. And it is opening up a whole new dimension to the igloo 360° experience.
